About Casket Services

At Embrace Funeral Services, we guide families through one of the most challenging times of their lives. Choosing  a casket is not just about choosing a resting place for a loved one; it’s about honoring their memory and the life they lived.

When it comes to selecting a casket, we offer a wide range of options to suit different preferences and budgets.  Our knowledgeable staff is here to assist you in finding the casket that not only honors your loved one but also meets your specific needs and preferences.

In addition to casket services, our funeral services extend beyond just that. We offer a comprehensive range of services that includes funeral planning, transportation, embalming, viewing, cremation, memorial services, and more.

We provide a one-stop funeral service, taking care of all the necessary arrangements so that you can focus on healing and remembering your loved one.

Our Casket Services:

Custom Made Casket:

For those who seek a more personalized touch, our custom-made caskets offer the opportunity to design a one-of-a-kind tribute.

Families can provide their own pictures or work closely with our designers to create a custom casket that truly represents their loved one. Led by our experienced funeral director, Jeffrey Lee, our team collaborates with families to bring their visions to life, ensuring a dignified remembrance and a peaceful resting place for all eternity.

Child Sized Casket:

We understand the immense grief and heartache that comes with the tragic loss of a young child or baby. To offer solace and support during such trying times, we are dedicated to providing specially designed caskets that honor the memory of these cherished little souls.

Our child-sized caskets are carefully crafted with utmost care and attention to detail, ensuring a dignified and respectful resting place for your precious child.

Designer Casket (Coming soon):

Every individual is unique, and we believe their final resting place should reflect that uniqueness. Designer caskets are the perfect option to convey the story of your loved ones. They can be part of a customised/personalised funeral service, allowing families to design a casket that mirrors the personality and taste of the deceased.

From the choice of color, materials, and finishes to the shape of the casket, environmental preferences, cultural influences, and even the personality of the departed, every aspect is considered.

Designer caskets are not just about aesthetics; they celebrate happy moments shared and serve as a gentle reminder of love, rather than a loss.

What Our Customers Say

Types of Caskets:

Wood Caskets: In Singapore, caskets are predominantly made of wood. Cremation caskets are mainly crafted from plywood, while burial caskets are primarily solid wood. Our wood caskets are crafted from high quality woods, as they reflect a different aura and sentiment.

Paper Caskets: An eco-friendly choice, paper caskets resonate with environmentally conscious families. While their aesthetics might be simpler, their significance in preserving the environment is profound. (At this moment, we do not carry paper caskets.)

Metal Caskets: Metal caskets are generally more expensive, but they have the advantage of being the most sturdy. They are rarely used, however, because they can’t be used for cremation. (At this moment, we do not carry metal caskets.)

Cultural and Religious Considerations:

Singapore is a melting pot of cultures and religions, and we pride ourselves on our deep understanding of the diverse funeral rites and traditions.

Whether it’s a Buddhist, Christian, Taoist, or any other ceremony, we ensure that every casket and service aligns with the religious and cultural sentiments of the family. Respect for traditions and beliefs is at the heart of everything we do.

FAQ

When choosing a casket, consider factors such as material, design, and budget. We offer custom designer caskets to add a personal touch to your loved one's farewell.

The customization process varies based on the design and intricacy. Typically, it can take anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks.

Although these terms are often used interchangeably in Singapore, they do actually have differences.

A coffin traditionally refers to a narrow and tapered container with six or eight sides, resembling the shape of the human body. It is commonly made of wood, and has a hinged lid that can be opened for viewing purposes.

On the other hand, a casket is rectangular in shape, often with a split lid design. It is typically constructed with more expensive materials, such as metal or high-quality wood, and provides a more polished and decorative appearance.

Yes, it is possible to purchase a casket before one passes away through the option of funeral pre planning. We provide funeral pre planning services which allow individuals to plan their own funeral arrangements before the time of their demise.

This includes the option to select and purchase a casket ahead of time. Funeral pre planning provides peace of mind and ensures that your wishes are respected even after you are no longer with us. It also relieves your loved ones from the burden of making difficult decisions during a time of grief.
